Our Department is internationally respected and recognised for its programs. Research activities have grown substantially over the past 25 years and continue to with participation from Industry. We have two Cooperative Research Centres:
The department provides both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and research (MEng and PhD) degrees in Chemical Engineering, double degree programs with Applied Chemistry, Extractive Metallurgy, and commerce, as well as industrial short courses in targeted areas. Student enrolment in our online Masters by coursework has grown significantly in the past three years.
