Igniting Interest and Promoting Understanding in Engineering and Technology among Primary School Students Through Engaging Learning Environments

I first became interested in engineering education through the research component of my chemical engineering degree at Curtin University. The project involved teaching engineering to primary schools through various activities.

This sparked my passion for teaching engineering and hence in July of 2012 I commenced by PhD studies in engineering education. The study aims to determine what factors and materials best encourage both students and teachers to understand and engage with engineering and technology.
